Mt. Vernon bumped their record down to 2-17 with that loss, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Evansville Memorial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
Mt. Vernon was taken down by Evansville Memorial 62-33 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Thankfully for Mt.
