Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jason Lajara stepped things up a notch to give Brick Memorial the 'W'. Lajara was dynamite, throwing for 201 yards and four TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. His passing game has become a key predictor of Brick Memorial's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.

Coming up, Lajara and Brick Memorial will venture away from home to square off against Southern Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are at an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2015, but likely not for long.
