Union hadn't done well against St. Francis Borgia recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Union was the clear victor by an 11-4 margin over St. Francis Borgia. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Union's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for St. Francis Borgia, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3.

Union wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-1 defeat against North Point on the 29th. As for St. Francis Borgia, they will be playing at home against Fatima at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
