Garland's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayson Ward, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Ward continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Musa Ndow, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds.
Garland has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Lakeview Centennial, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.
