Franklin Kirchner gave up the fewest walks he has since back in May of 2024 on Tuesday. Nobody could stop him as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 16 over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
