Given Hammond Bishop Noll's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while Illiana Christian is ranked 220th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Amauri Moore was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Parks, who scored 15 points.
Hammond Bishop Noll's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Illiana Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
Hammond Bishop Noll will be playing in front of their home fans against Whiting at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Whiting is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Illiana Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Bowman Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
