Basketball Recap: Brown Deer Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Brown Deer played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 72-29 loss at the hands of the Milwaukee King Generals. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Brown Deer's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jalisa Washington, who posted eight points and nine rebounds. Washington is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Kornis, who earned eight points.

Leading Milwaukee King to victory were Jurney Boone and Naomi Wilson. Boone dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Wilson dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Paige Senboutaraj, who put up 15 points.

Brown Deer now has a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Brown Deer is headed away from home for the first time to take on Milwaukee Bradley Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Milwaukee King, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Fuller Collegiate Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
