The Noble Academy and Rowe-Clark are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Noble Academy Griffins will head out on the road to square off against the Rowe-Clark Masai Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, The Noble Academy was beaten by Johnson 65-27. The Noble Academy has struggled against Johnson recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Rowe-Clark pushed their score all the way to 66 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 78-66 to Hansberry. While losing is never fun, Rowe-Clark can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 604th, while Hansberry is ranked 230th).
Rowe-Clark's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Arnez Jones, who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds, and Marcus Fossett who scored 14 points along with six steals and five assists. Jones is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last three games he's played. Artez Jones was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
