The Estacada Rangers will head out on the road to face off against the Seaside Seagulls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Estacada got themselves on the board against The Dalles, but The Dalles never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Riverhawks with a sharp 23-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but Estacada sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Meanwhile, Seaside entered their tilt with St. Helens with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Seaside strolled past St. Helens with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 27-12.
Ryder Jackson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 185 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played.
Estacada's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Seaside, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Estacada strolled past Seaside in their previous matchup back in September of 2021 by a score of 30-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for Estacada since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
