The Kentwood Conquerors will head out on the road to face off against the Bellarmine Prep Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bellarmine Prep took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Kentwood, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Kentwood beat Kentridge 57-52. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kentwood.
Meanwhile, Bellarmine Prep came up short against Sumner on Saturday and fell 58-46. Bellarmine Prep has not had much luck with Sumner recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Kentwood is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Bellarmine Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
Kentwood was taken down by Bellarmine Prep 80-40 in their previous matchup back in December of 2015. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Kentwood was down 50-23.
