Easthampton/Hampshire entered their tilt with Palmer on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Panthers 12-2. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Patrick Larson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. He has become a key player for Easthampton/Hampshire: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Sigda, who went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Easthampton/Hampshire kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 3.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 9.

Easthampton/Hampshire's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Palmer, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Easthampton/Hampshire will take on Pioneer Valley Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Palmer, they will head out to square off against Granby at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
