This season hasn't been kind to the Islands Sharks, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They took a hard 47-28 fall against The Habersham School on Monday. Islands was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as The Habersham School apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Among those leading the charge was Anna Cadle, who scored 7 points along with 9 steals. Cadle is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Camryn Hampton was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 5 steals.
Islands' loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for The Habersham School, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Islands is on the road again on Friday and play against Jenkins at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. The Habersham School won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Faith Baptist Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 5th. Hopefully Faith Baptist Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Saturday.
