Cocoa Beach entered their tilt with Merritt Island on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Merritt Island Mustangs 5-2. Considering the Minutemen have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Merritt Island with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Max Perez (2), Jadyn Senger, Rhys Gallant, and Thatcher Moffitt.

Cocoa Beach has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those nine matches. As for Merritt Island, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2.

Cocoa Beach wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Viera on the 16th. Merritt Island does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
