The Tuscarora Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to Century at home by a decisive 49-35 margin. Tuscarora has not had much luck with Century recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Janae Morrison, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Laney Barton, who scored three points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Tuscarora's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Century, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.
Tuscarora will square off against South Hagerstown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Hagerstown comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Century, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against South Carroll at 6:00 p.m.
