The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Iha Kasam and Harper Moore. Kasam had a great game and scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Meanwhile, Moore did her best for the losing side, scoring 17 points.
Juanita posted their closest win yet this season on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Bellevue 58-55. The win made it back-to-back wins for Juanita.
Redmond's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Juanita, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Redmond ended up a good deal behind Juanita in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, losing 72-54. Thankfully for Redmond, Joy Haltom (who scored 43 points along with seven rebounds and five steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
