Forge Christian is a perfect 10-0 against The Academy since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Fury will square off against the Wildcats at 3:00 p.m. Forge Christian will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
On Friday, Forge Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Valley, taking the game 6-2.

Jonathan Tipton tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Sullivan Strange and Jonah Boykin did most of the damage at the plate: Strange went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Boykin went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Boykin has posted over his last eight contests.
University hit The Academy with a seven-run fourth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-0. The Wildcats have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Forge Christian's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for The Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.
The Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Forge Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .436. It's a different story for The Academy, though, as they've only averaged .360. Will they be able to contain Forge Christian's hitters?
Forge Christian took their win against The Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-3 score. Will the Fury repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
