3A District 8 recap November 13, 2013
Fans got a thrill when Seth Sandlin and Austan Drewry connected against Idabel. The connection went for 77 yards, the longest such play in 3A District 8 this season.
Stigler took down the Warriors 55-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Sandlin threw for 153 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 173 yards in the win.
The Panthers' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Sandlin contributed 173 yards. Dylan Bryant helped Stigler's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 20 yards.
Shane Quick made the biggest impact on defense this week as Stigler beat Idabel. The 5-foot-10 sophomore recorded 1 fumble.
Drewry was the best receiver in the league this week as Chris Risenhoover's team beat Micah Mashburn's team. Drewry racked up 3 receptions for 101 yards. Bryant helped Stigler's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 20 yards.
The Panthers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 55 points on the Warriors. Sandlin during the win.
