Davian Stephenson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Davian Stephenson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Chowchilla to the win on Friday. Stephenson rushed for 290 yards and five touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 87 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (100.7). He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 66 yards.
Chowchilla pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Stephenson and Chowchilla will host Minarets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Talan Lamattina Leads Liberty over Minarets
Talan Lamattina produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Liberty to the win on Friday. Lamattina rushed for 142 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making 12 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Minarets had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Lamattina it was a similar story. Lamattina rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries the last time he and the Mustangs duked it out back in October of 2023.

Xaidyn Camacho Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Friday, Riverdale got the W thanks in part to Xaidyn Camacho playing the best football he has all season. Camacho rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 146 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Yosemite had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Camacho it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Camacho saw the Badgers), he rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 82 yards and a touchdown.

Fowler Gets a Boost from Smith in 55-29 Defeat
While Fowler might've come up empty on Friday, Jerod "Bubba" Smith wasn't going down without a fight. Smith was unstoppable, throwing for 396 yards and four touchdowns.
Fowler's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2. Smith and Fowler will venture away from home to square off against Riverdale at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Liberty got the W thanks in part to Ethan Dunn playing the best football he has all season. Dunn rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up two sacks and made four total tackles.
For the year, Dunn has run in 2 touchdowns while averaging 43.1 rushing yards per game.
