Creighton Bracker and Etienne Higgins certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Bracker dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Higgins scored 16 points. Bracker is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cole Arnold, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Sioux City East's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.3 points per game. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.
