Given Damonte Ranch's advantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while McQueen is ranked 46th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jace Anderson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds. The game was his 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeriah Macias, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Despite the defeat, McQueen saw an underclassman step up: Kade Snyder dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Snyder scored a full 42.6% of McQueen's points, the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Alex Hancock, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Even though they lost, McQueen were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Damonte Ranch only pulled down eight offensive rebounds.
