The Jefferson Dragons will head out on the road to challenge the Dunedin Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson is hoping to put an end to a 19-game streak of away losses.
Jefferson lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Wednesday was a bit more commanding. They had to suffer through a rough 63-28 loss at the hands of Gaither. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Jefferson has suffered since December 5, 2023.
Meanwhile, Dunedin's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Clearwater Central Catholic 76-36. Dunedin was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-16.
Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Dunedin, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
