Versailles was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They fell  3-1 to the Clinton Cardinals. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in September of 2024.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 17-25, 25-19,  25-20.
 Clinton can attribute much of their success to  Brooklyn Wisniewski, who  had 14  digs and one assist. Those  14  digs gave  Wisniewski a new career-high.
Versailles' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Clinton,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-3-2.
 Coming up, Versailles will take on Osage at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Clinton, they will challenge Smith-Cotton at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
