Despite the loss, St. Francis still got an impressive performance from Sam Braun, who went 7 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 41 points and 2 assists. The matchup was Braun's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mario Zermeno, who scored five points.
St. Francis' defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-9. As for Scotts Valley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.
