Wolcott RVT waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Abbott RVT Wolverines. Considering the Wildcats have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Wolcott RVT let Robbie Nellson and Brody Nadeau run wild. Nellson got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs, while Nadeau got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jason Miller, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three RBI and one run.

Wolcott RVT's victory bumped their record up to 9-2-1. As for Abbott RVT, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Wolcott RVT will host Wright Tech at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Abbott RVT, they will venture away from home to square off against Immaculate at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
