The Bryan Station Defenders put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Lafayette 79-39 at home. Considering Bryan Station has won four contests by more than 25 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Bryan Station found their leader in underclassman Amari Owens, who scored 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Owens has scored at least 25% of Bryan Station's points. Another player making a difference was Daeveon Adams, who scored 12 points.
Bryan Station pushed their record up to 5-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.67 points. As for Lafayette, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bryan Station will challenge Woodford County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kentucky (Woodford County is ranked 34th, while Bryan Station is ranked 13th). Lafayette's road trip will continue as they head out to face Tates Creek at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Tates Creek is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
