Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crystal Lake South). They put the hurt on the Chicago University Maroons with a sharp 21-2 win on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Maroons: they've now won four in a row.

Crystal Lake South's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Chicago University, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crystal Lake South will head out to face off against McHenry at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Gators surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chicago University, they will head out on the road to take on Latin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Romans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Maroons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
