Faith Doyle was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Gracie Brooks was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
When it comes to explaining why Lauralton Hall lost, one person who can't be blamed is Maura Bosse. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals.
Foran's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0. As for Lauralton Hall, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foran will be home for the holidays to greet Mercy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Mercy is ranked 18th, while Foran is ranked 27th).
