Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hutchinson-Central Tech). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-60 victory over the Global Concepts Gators on Saturday. The Engineers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Gators, too.
Despite the loss, Global Concepts still got an impressive performance from Ahmad Bah, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards. Bah continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Mills, who posted 11 points.
Hutchinson-Central Tech picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Global Concepts, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hutchinson-Central Tech has already played their next contest (against Burgard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Global Concepts has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Holland.
