Volleyball Recap: Navarro Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

Navarro won the last time they faced Cuero and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gobblers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted against the Gobblers since October 6, 2020.

While Navarro won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 25-21.

Navarro can attribute much of their success to Peyton Schimonsky, who had 12 digs. That's the most digs Schimonsky has posted since back in September.

Navarro has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-17 record this season. As for Cuero, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 21-22.

Navarro has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Stockdale on the 27th. As for Cuero, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against St. Michael's on the 28th.
