While Perry didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Sunnyslope Vikings 6-0 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Pumas, who have now won three matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Perry got a great performance from Michael Orbegozo as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Alex Lee, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Perry pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Sunnyslope, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
