 On the hitting side, Montesano saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jaelyn Butterfield, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  RBI. Those  two  hits gave  Butterfield a new career-high.
Montesano's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Aberdeen, the  victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.
 Montesano has  already played their next  matchup (against Puyallup), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Aberdeen, they will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hoquiam at 4:30  p.m.  on April 4.
