The Larchmont Charter Timberwolves waltzed into Monday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Middle College by a score of 48-37. That's another feather in the cap for Larchmont Charter, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Larchmont Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nicolas Ojeda, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The contest was Ojeda's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cypress Williams, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and five blocks.
Middle College's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Josiah Anderson, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds, and Kaosisochukwu Udeze who scored 12 points along with three steals. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for Udeze.
Middle College struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Larchmont Charter racked up 14 assists.
Larchmont Charter's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Middle College, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Larchmont Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Animo South Los Angeles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Middle College's road trip will continue as they head out to face New West Charter at 4:30 p.m. on December 13th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (New West Charter is ranked 913th, while Middle College is ranked 900th).
