C Little Ten recap Oct. 9, 2012
Foxcroft extended the longest winning streak in C Little Ten this week by beating Bapst, 40-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Hermon was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to sixth in the league. The Hawks vanquished Stearns 27-26 earlier in the week.
Bucksport's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Golden Bucks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matthew Stewart has thrown for 537 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Josh Gray has 23 catches for 321 yards. Nic Bishop leads the league in rushing with 594 yards.
A big matchup in C Little Ten this week will be when Bucksport takes on Foxcroft. The Golden Bucks are in fifth place, while Danny White's team is in first place.
Hermon and the Minutemen played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Hermon eventually emerging with a 27-26 victory.
