The Carmel Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 59-17 defeat at the hands of Mount Vernon. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Carmel in their matchups with Mount Vernon: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Carmel saw an underclassman step up: Kylie Murphy scored 11 points along with three steals. The matchup was Murphy's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
