After a string of nine wins, the Richwoods Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. The match between Richwoods and Quincy wasn't particularly close, with Richwoods falling 56-40.
Quincy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taylor Fohey led the charge by dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Jada Brown, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Richwoods' loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Quincy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.
