Despite the loss, Valley Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Abby Grier went 10-for-23 on her way to 28 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Grier has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Maurer, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 14 boards.
Even though they lost, Valley Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive matches.
