The LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers will head out on the road to square off against the Ottawa Pirates at 7:00 p.m. LaSalle-Peru is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
Last Monday, LaSalle-Peru earned a 36-26 win over Prairie Central. Given LaSalle-Peru's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while Prairie Central is ranked 593rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Ottawa beat Princeton 41-33 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ottawa.
The victory got LaSalle-Peru back to even at 14-14. As for Ottawa, their victory bumped their record up to 15-12.
LaSalle-Peru couldn't quite finish off Ottawa when the teams last played back in January and fell 40-38. Can LaSalle-Peru avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
