Westside gave up the first goal on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Rams who were credited with the victory. The Westside Rams got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to the Fountain Inn Fury's five. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-2 back in March.

Westside's win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9. As for Fountain Inn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Westside is set to take on their familiar foe Southside at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Fountain Inn will face off against rival Wren at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
