RILEY BLOUNT was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off three hits. BLOUNT was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

In other batting news, DIXON MONK was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Meanwhile, South Wake narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past DASH 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sabres.
Caden Collins was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
