The Big Pine Warriors lost against the Lee Vining Tigers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Big Pine fell 57-45 to Lee Vining. Big Pine has struggled against Lee Vining recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Big Pine still got an impressive performance from Wil Mairs, who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Mairs scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Noah Ericson, who scored 11 points.
Big Pine now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Lee Vining, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Trona the next time they take the court. Big Pine will host Trona at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Lee Vining will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
