The Mountain View Buffalos put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 42-0 victory over Kemmerer. The result was nothing new for Mountain View, who have now won four matches by 23 points or more so far this season.
Mountain View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Justus Platts, who rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Mountain View also got a significant boost from Jayce Schultz, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 90 yards.
Mountain View's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. As for Kemmerer, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Mountain View will look to defend their home field on Friday against Wheatland at 1:00 p.m. Kemmerer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
