Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Northern Lebanon

Northern Lebanon entered their tilt with Hershey on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Trojans 11-3. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won three matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Northern Lebanon let Connor Stoltz and Adrian Gonzalez run wild. Stoltz went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Gonzalez scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most doubles Stoltz has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Owen Fahringer, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3.

Northern Lebanon's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Hershey, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Northern Lebanon will challenge Lancaster Mennonite at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hershey, they will square off against Central Dauphin East at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Hershey's pitchers better be ready for this one: Central Dauphin East has averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
