Pathways took a 21-point defeat the last time they faced off against Elite Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Pathways skirted past Elite Academy 59-57. Pathways' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Pathways got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Roy Berry out in front who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. Berry is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Shabiah Gordon, who posted 12 points.

Despite the loss, Elite Academy had strong showings from David Nicolas, who scored 18 points, and Liam Burell, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. Adrian Ombangil was another key player, putting up six points.

Pathways' record is now 3-0. As for Elite Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Pathways has already played their next game, a 70-42 victory against Creation Village World on the 14th. As for Elite Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-49 win against Parkridge Christian on the 14th.
