Volleyball Recap: Willard Has No Trouble Against Mcdonald County

Willard not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 9th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the McDonald County Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

One reason for the win was Willard's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-4.

Taylor Roweton paced Willard's offense, picking up 14 kills. Roweton got some help from Abby Morris and her 23 assists. Roweton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Willard's victory bumped their record up to 22-10-4. As for McDonald County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-18-2.

Coming up, Willard will square off against Carl Junction at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. McDonald County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
