Overton has gone  a perfect 4-0 against Sheffield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Thursday.  Julian Tallent was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  stolen bases,  and five  RBI. Those  five  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Meanwhile, Sheffield was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They took  an  8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hillcrest. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by  exactly three  runs.
  Michael Ware was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing five bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Overton's victory bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for Sheffield, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1.
 Everything went Overton's way against Sheffield when the teams last played  back in March, as Overton made off with  an  18-3 win. Do  the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
