While it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, the Wibaux Longhorns were not quite the Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades's equal in the second half on Saturday. Wibaux took a 41-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Reed Point/Rapelje. Wibaux has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Reed Point/Rapelje to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marshall Ulmer , who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds. Maxwell Hanes was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Wibaux's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Reed Point/Rapelje, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Wibaux will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Powder River County at 7:00 p.m. on January 12, 2024. Reed Point/Rapelje is on the road again on Friday and play against Non Varsity Opponent at 12:00 p.m. on December 8th.
