Forestburg hadn't done well against Midway recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Everything went the Forestburg Longhorns' way against the Midway Falcons as the Forestburg Longhorns made off with a 65-45 victory. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Forestburg had a senior duo take command as Kyler Willett posted 22 points and Jesus Sanchez scored 22 points. That's the most points Willett has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesse Wadsworth, who put up ten points.

Forestburg has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Midway, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Forestburg will challenge Saint Jo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Saint Jo has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Midway, they will head out on the road to take on Gold-Burg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
