While Scappoose might've come up empty on Tuesday, Colton Sprenger wasn't going down without a fight. Sprenger was dialed in and scored 14 points along with two steals. Considering what he did the last time these two duked it out (he scored ten points), Astoria should've known better.
Sprenger and Scappoose won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Seaside at 5:30 p.m. on January 24th. Scappoose has some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since March of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
