Belding had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Comstock Park on Monday. The Black Knights put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 5-1 win. The result was nothing new for Belding, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

Belding has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6-1 record this season. As for Comstock Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belding will face off against NorthPointe Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Comstock Park, they will challenge West Catholic on Wednesday. This will be Comstock Park's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
