Schaumburg had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 45-point drubbing they dealt Hoffman Estates on Friday. The Saxons blew past the Hawks 45-0. The Saxons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Schaumburg didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Makenzi Aguilar, Stayan Porter, and Taylor Dolecki picked up one apiece.

Schaumburg pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.0 points over those games. As for Hoffman Estates, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.

Coming up, Schaumburg will take on Barrington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Fillies/Broncos' defense has only allowed 12.1 points per game this season, so the Saxons' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Hoffman Estates, they will challenge Conant at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Hawks will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.58 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
